Meaning.
  • Look alive, sunshine - This half minute track opens the New Jersey rock band 'My Chemical Rom,ace's' fourth album 'Danger Days: The true lives of the fabulous killjoys.  Frontman Gerard Way told Billboard magazine, ''danger days kicks off with look alive sunshine, this song is kinda contributing to the ideas of the album as this really crazy ride - like someone holding your hand on the way up the rollercoaster and then at the top he sort of lets go and he checks in on you from here.
  • Na Na Na (na na na na na na na na na) - It is set in 2019 and its was in battery city.  Grace jeanette explained in one of the behind the scenes vision that a man is trying to kill her and the killjoys and killjoys never die, that is why they made a sequel called 'sing'.
  • Bulletproof heart - The 80's flavoured tune finds frontman Gerard Way singing about the romantic ideals of leaving the small town for the bright lights of the big city, and being saved by rock and roll on a saturday night.
  • Sing - i think this song is about the new generation and how they need to stand yo fro what they believe in to make a better future for themselves and other, using their voice "sing is for the world, sing it for the work" and "girl, you got to see what tomorrow means''.
  • Planetary (go) - It's pretty much about a song about being aware of whats going on and just taking control as to how your life should be lived.
  • The only hope for me is you - i read a comment once on this song, and this is roughly what it said: This song is about the falling of the twin towers 9/11.  If anyone knows the boi of the band it's because gerard way lead singer witnessed the falling of the two towers, and that is what inspired him to start the band with his younger brother, Mikey way and some of their friends (it was actually ray and matt pelissier  but frank joined i think just before bullets was recorded).  This is not the only song though that they have written about 9/11, but that is the meaning behind this song, i think!!!
  • Jetstar and the kobra kid (traffic report) - IDK about this song/text sorry gahs.
  • Party poison - Its about again, living your life to the fullest  its also about not letting partying consume your life and doing some work such as the lines ''oh, where'd be killing ourselves but sleeping in'' and ''and all the good times  give you cancer''.  also iggy pop and stooges references.  first with a solo in the beginning  and with the lines ''Street walking cheetah with a capital G'' like the line ''like a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm''.
  • Save yourself, i'll hold them back - in my opinion might not be true though, its about the band pleading with the fans to stay alive, not consider suicidal, and get help when necessary.  They want the fans to listen to this song and believe theres still hope for tomorrow.  And then even if we fail with our lives  or things we're doing, we still continue to live or start a new and fight till the end.
  • S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W - this song is about a nuclear war as are SING and Na Na Na.  the scarecrow could be a code word for the nuclear bomb ''he burns my skin'' could be talking about radiation from the bomb, if a nuclear bomb ever broke out, everybody would have to grow up to survive ''make a wish when your childhood dies'' and ''here a knock knock knock when she cries, were all alone tonight'' could be talking about hiding in a shelter and not been able to let the people outside knocking in''.
  • summertime - once lyn-z gerard wife had 'run away with me' written on her arm and gerard had 'anytime you want' written on his neck   Thats how he came up with the lyrics.  i don't think this i know this - this song is a super song!!!!! (see what i super did there).
  • DESTROYA - This song is about rebellion.  Because there are people who follow the crowd, people who are individuals.  There are people who have good standard of living, and people who are in poverty, and are sick and fed up.  It's against the corporations, governments, it's against the agenda that control us.  they're against it because they realize because of that, people can be so simple minded, and not accepted who some people are.  People have different views, sexualities, beliefs, style of clothing, opinions. However the norms were meant to follow, cut our wings of so then we can't be who we want to be and who we are.
  • The kids from yesterday - This song is about the band finally coming to a decision that they have finally grown up, but they have all done it in there own way (even Ray).  The feeling of the completion and success came from that song because we felt like that.  It was like 'cool and okay to grow up.  Its okay to be in our thirties (and still be as hot as they are again even ray) and make a new album! but its there most immature mature record - the most fun but mature, the song is really about growing up and finding a new way to describe an adult, which to say ''the kid from yesterday''!!!
Goodnight dr. death - i really don't know - the national anthem is kinda strange (im reading this of another website so it might not be up to date) but since he'd said he'd be back, well maybe they're gonna bring out a new album or something which i highly doubt as they broke *cry* up *crying* last *more cryinger* spring *cryingest* *cant get any worseter*!!!!!! ;'''(
  • Vampire money - MCR were offered large sums to contribute to the twilight series because of the bands gothic culture.  the quartet refused as they loath what goth has become.  Frontman gerard way told the british magazine NME: ''that's why the song vampire money is on there, cause there is a lot of people chasing that fucking money.  Twilight?  A lot of people were like 'please for the love of god  do this fucking movie' but we'd already moved on''.
sorry this one took a while i kinda got grounded from my computer!!! xn so again im super - sorry xxx
